FT Emergency Shelter Case Aide

Looking for meaningful work where you can build experience in human services?

As a Case Aide at Open Door Mission, you'll work directly with shelter guests while supporting the day-to-day operation of our emergency shelter. You'll help create a safe, structured and compassionate environment for people experiencing homelessness and other significant life challenges.

This is a direct-support position, not a traditional case management role, and you will not carry your own caseload. You'll work alongside experienced shelter and case management staff while gaining hands-on experience with client support, community resources, documentation, crisis response and housing services.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility is helping the shelter operate safely and effectively while providing day-to-day support to our guests.

You'll:

• Welcome, supervise and provide day-to-day support to shelter guests
• Help maintain a safe, respectful and structured, faith-based shelter environment
• Support daily activities including meals, chapel, programming, bed counts
