$18 per hour Part-time

Our Community Habilitation Counselors provide individualized support to people with disabilities in their communities. In this role, you'll help individuals develop everyday skills, make meaningful connections, participate in activities they enjoy, and work toward the goals that are important to them. You'll use your creativity, patience, and enthusiasm to make a meaningful difference in someone's life.

• A caring, dependable person who is passionate about supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and build independence.
• High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of work experience required; experience supporting people with disabilities preferred. Associate Degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with the individuals and families we support.
• A valid New York State driver's license and access to an insured, registered vehicle.
• Ability to work flexible hours and provide hands-on support with daily living, community activities, and skill development.
