Families Thrive is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Rochester, NY. Founded in 1972 as an advocacy organization for foster children to find their forever family, we are now dedicated to placing foster youth in safe, loving homes - from infancy to age 21. Through compassionate and therapeutic foster care, adoption, and family support services across New York state, we help youth and families build lasting bonds.
Role DescriptionFamilies Thrive is seeking passionate individuals to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Home & Family Finders are responsible for recruiting foster families through community outreach and informational sessions, facilitating foster parent training classes, and supporting, monitoring, and visiting foster and adoptive families throughout the placement process and their journey.
Qualifications & Details- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass all background clearances
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license
- Salary range: $50,000-$55,000 annually
