Location: City of Rochester

Akkodis is seeking a Front end React developer job with a client in Rochester, NY. Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required for this role. You will be responsible for building intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for our web-based HR and payroll solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver seamless digital experiences for clients.

Rate Range: $45/hr. to $52/hr the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

  • Develop and maintain scalable front-end components using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
  • Minimum Two years related experience.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
