API Integration Architect

The pay range for this role is $150K Max per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems and APIs that support healthcare applications.
• Implement middleware solutions and enterprise service bus (ESB) architectures to facilitate seamless system integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with overall API strategy.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of backend services.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API development, microservices, and healthcare integration.
• Document technical specifications, integration processes, and system architecture for future reference.

Mandatory

Skills:

• Proven experience in system integration, particularly within the healthcare sector.
• Strong proficiency in API design and development, including RESTful and SOAP services.
• Hands‑on experience with middleware technologies and enterprise service bus (ESB) solutions.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of database management systems and data integration techniques.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in backend development and system integration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a remote team environment.
