Auto Hauler Exchange is an innovative startup revolutionizing the auto transport and logistics industry. Our platform connects vehicle shippers and carriers to streamline vehicle transportation with real-time tracking, transparent pricing, and an easy-to-use interface. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add another experienced Full-Stack Engineer to our software development team in Rochester, MI.
JOB DESCRIPTION:As a key member of the software development team, our team of Full Stack Engineers build our cutting-edge web applications from start to finish, working on the front-end, back-end, and infrastructure. Our Full Stack Engineers are responsible for the entire project, from conception to deployment.
RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):- Build upon our proprietary platform and integrate into a headless commerce system.
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
- Work with stakeholders during implementation for testing, debugging, support, and maintenance.
- Write effective and intuitive APIs for client, customer, and partner developers.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
- Design client and server architecture for cloud deployment.
- Build front-ends with intuitive appealing visual design.
- Build mobile responsive user experiences.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
- Create security and data protection settings.
- Continuously focus on leveraging AI in order to boost productivity, improve code quality, enhance security, and create more adaptive and innovative applications.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Great attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
- Knowledge of back-end languages and libraries (e.g. Python, Node.js, Rest, GraphQL).
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Codeium, and Tabnine.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres).
- Experience with UX/UI product or design tools (e.g. Figma > CSS / HTML or Mobile).
- Hands-on experience standing up Big Query as an analytics platform: dataset and table design, partitioning and clustering, streaming and batch ingestion, and query cost controls.
- Experience with the GCP data stack:
Datastream or comparable replication, Pub/Sub subscriptions into Big Query, Dataform or dbt for transformation, and a catalogue and lineage tool such as Dataplex. - Experience implementing warehouse governance: row-level or column-level security, IAM scoping, retention and deletion paths, and quotas set before a query surface opens up.
