The Food Services Driver is responsible for collecting, packaging, and delivering goods to client and non-client locations. They share the responsibility of maintaining the warehouse inventory, cleaning, organizing, stocking, and receiving of goods. This role works closely with the Food Service Team to ensure integrity of all meals and items prepared for delivery.
This is a full‑time (40 hours) position on a Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am‑5:00 pm schedule. This role is based out of our Atlantic Ave office in Rochester, but services a number of Hillside locations across the region.
Essential Job Functions- Load, transport, and deliver merchandise/food to various Hillside locations using a company issued vehicle.
- Load and unload items from vehicles.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete, ensure charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Communicate customer needs and elevate issues to management following department protocol, and assist with problem solving.
- Accurately receive, process, and store warehouse inventory, including hard goods, food and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in the warehouse and in delivery vehicles.
- Transport vehicles to vendors for cleaning or maintenance.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and adhere to all record standards in accordance with regulations.
- While this job description covers many aspects of the role, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Unrestricted, valid NYS driver’s license for minimum of 1 year with a clean driving record and minimum insurance coverage that meets agency standards.

- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to operate warehouse vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Skill in interacting professionally with clients and delivery recipients.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems related to inventory discrepancies or vehicle issues.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions and verify shipments against orders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
The following physical demands are required:
- Occasional sitting (up to 4 hours)
- Frequent standing (up to 6 hours)
- Frequent walking (up to 6 hours)
- Frequent driving (up to 8 hours)
- Continuous balancing (up to 8 hours)
- Frequent balancing, bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching forward or down, reaching overhead, running, and twisting (up to 6 hours)
- Daily lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. at a time.
- Manual dexterity is required, including frequent ability to grasp in both hands and continuous use of fine manipulation skills in both hands (approximately 1‑2.5 hrs.)
- Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, gases or chemicals is apparent.
- Protective clothing or equipment required:
Closed‑toed shoes;
Protective Shields, Universal Precaution PPE. - Ability to change positions as needed.
$18.50 Minimum pay rate, $24.00 Maximum pay rate, based on experience
