Driver​/Mover; Rochester, NY

Pay Rate: $18-$20/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
Start date: Immediate.

The primary function of this position is to provide Moving and Delivery services along with other members of the moving and delivery team.

• Complete moves, deliveries and errands under the guidance of the Lead Driver and Operations Manager.
• Maintain a valid class D license or higher driver's license to drive company vehicles.
• Participate in morning safety meetings.
• Submit to a daily breathalyzer test.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Complete all required paperwork pertaining to moves, deliveries and inspections.
• Help perform move estimates.

• Learn the proper use of all workshop equipment.
• Build furniture per the specifications and quantities explained by the Shop Supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• At least 25 years of age.
• Delivery/Moving/Driving experience is highly preferred.
• Maintain a clean driver's license and safe driving record.
• Able to work at least 40 hours a week with flexibility to work less.
• Able or willing to learn how to drive all trucks in fleet.
• Willingness and ability to lift items weighing 50-100+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Able to pass drug test subject to random screening.
• No limitations for working with power tools in a noisy environment.

Candidates must be reliable and punctual and have the ability to communicate effectively and courteously to clients and co-workers at all times. You must be able to multi-task, prioritize work, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Good organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing and challenging environments are necessary in order to be successful.
