Driver - Per Diem; Transportation Support

Description

We are seeking a dependable and professional Per Diem Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for employees to and from designated work-related locations. This role supports operational continuity by ensuring timely, secure, and confidential transportation services as needed in a smoke-free environment.
In alignment with company policy, smoking or vaping is not permitted in company vehicles or while on duty.

• Rochester Resource Center at 1000 University Avenue, STE 500

• Per Diem/as-needed
• Hours will vary based on operation demand
• May require flexibility, including early mornings or evenings

• Safely transport employees to and from assigned work-related destinations
• Comply with all New York State traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and discreet demeanor at all times
• Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections before and after trips
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues promptly
• Accurately log mileage, trip times, and any incidents
• Immediately report accidents, safety concerns, or violations
• Follow all company safety, confidentiality, and conduct policies

• Valid New York State driver’s license in good standing
• Clean driving record (subject to motor vehicle record review)
• Minimum 10 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background screening consistent with NY law
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, if needed
• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Ability to enter and exit vehicle repeatedly during shift
• Ability to provide light assistance to passengers, if required

The hourly rate range for this position is $18.00-$20.00, with overtime paid at 1.5 regular hourly rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek, in accordance with New York State Labor Law. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This position is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits except as required by applicable law.
