Delivery Driver - Long Term Care

Overview

Scope of Responsibilities:
Works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task.

Job Summary:

Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of orders to long term care facilities, while ensuring total customer satisfaction.

• Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
• Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent.
• Accurately package and prepare items for facility delivery.
• Schedule delivery route in most efficient manner to ensure timely delivery with least travel required.
• Responsible for completion of all paperwork and proper filing.
• Ensure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior.
• Greet customers using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed.
• Pick up medications and/or supplies from other facilities.
• Keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment.
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Read and sign the Fleet Management Policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Attendance Requirements:

• Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.

Education:

• Minimum:
  High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Drivers License in good standing.

Experience:

• Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position.

Required (Vermont Employees):

• Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.

Required (New Hampshire Employees):

• Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.

Skills Required:

• Basic Math skills necessary.
• Strong communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Requires the ability to sit, stand, climb stairs and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
• Limited lifting up to 40 lbs.

$ per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
