Local Delivery Driver (CDL

B) – Rochester, NY (Open)

Location:

Rochester, NY – Deep Rock – Filling industrial.

• Safely transport, load, and unload compressed gas cylinders between locations while maintaining meticulous documentation and vehicle safety inspections.
• Professionally manage associate and customer relations and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
• Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders, as well as hard goods, along designated routes.
• Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures.
• Handle the loading and unloading of all materials.
• Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, noting any issues to ensure full safety compliance and maintain vehicle condition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company during all deliveries.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid Class B or better CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lb and occasionally lift 76–100 lb.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Commitment to maintain a drug‑free workplace.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience.
• Touch freight delivery experience.

• Monday–Friday, first shift.
• Pay range: $28–$30 per hour.
