CDL Driver - Construction Demolition

Overview

Join a dynamic team at a leading demolition organization as a CDL Driver in Rochester, NY, where you ll play a key role in safe material transport. Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 per year.

Job Details / Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL Class A or B vehicles including dump trucks, roll-off, flatbeds, or similar to transport demolition debris, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete driver logs, and maintain accurate records in compliance with DOT regulations
• Load, secure, and unload cargo properly using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Maintain vehicles in clean and operational condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, site crews, and team members to ensure timely and efficient operations
• Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations
• Assist with general site support or labor tasks as needed during demolition projects

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record
• Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience (dump truck, construction, or related preferred)
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in varying weather conditions and on uneven job sites
• Reliable, team-oriented, and physically capable of lifting, climbing, and securing loads
• High school diploma or equivalent
