Class A CDL Truck Driver (Rochester, NY)

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Rochester, NY, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Weekly pay average: $1200‑$1500.

Daily trip pay:
Peddle Run $768.31 per trip.

Per diem: $26.52 per night (2 nights per week).

Sign‑on bonus: $1 000 at 30 days and $1 000 at 90 days.

Paid training. Schedule Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, start 5:00‑6:00 AM. Occasional shuttle runs (Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun 2 pm‑8 pm). Requires flexibility.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test.
• Provide appropriate Class A CDL and endorsements.
• Have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • At least 9 months within the past 3 years, or
  • At least 2 years within the last 5 years, or
  • At least 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days.
• 80 hours PTO first year, starting day 1 (use it or get paid).
