Role:
A Class A Linehaul Driver responsible for safe overnight transportation of freight, primarily terminal-to-terminal or relay point routes, with occasional customer pickups or deliveries.
Responsibilities:Safely operate commercial vehicles, inspect for defects, secure freight, assist with loading/unloading, and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements, including hazardous materials transportation. Maintain accurate records and drive in various conditions, adhering to federal, state, and local laws.
Qualifications & Skills:Minimum of one to two years of interstate driving experience with a valid CDL, hazardous material and tank endorsements, and a clean driving record. Must pass a driving test, DOT physical, and pre-employment drug screening. Demonstrate dependability, good work ethic, and a positive attitude. Consent to use of driver-facing recorders and background checks, including the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Key Duties:Safe vehicle operation, freight securing, vehicle inspections, compliance with safety regulations, accurate record-keeping, and occasional customer service tasks, ensuring adherence to safety and legal standards.
