We’re seeking a Warehouse/Receiving Lead to join our dynamic team, acting as the backbone of our production process by feeding paper and supplies to our state‑of‑the‑art machines. This role offers learning and growth, with a clear path toward becoming a machine operator in the future.

Position Details
  • Job Title: Warehouse/Receiving Lead
  • Department: Distribution
  • Location: Rochester Tech Park, 2332 Innovation Way, Bldg 4, Rochester, NY 14624 (must have reliable transportation)
  • Schedule: Full‑time, A Shift, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday
  • Pay: $20–$25 per hour, final compensation based on experience
  • Reports To: Distribution Manager
Job Summary

The Warehouse/Receiving Lead oversees receiving operations, including unloading trucks, logging inventory, and organizing materials. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring proper storage of products and corrugation, and keeping the warehouse clean. This role requires operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials while directing and working alongside the Warehouse/Receiving Clerk.

Responsibilities / Duties
  • Receive, verify, and store incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and damage.
  • Handle internal deliveries, including UPS/Fed Ex rounds and departmental distributions.
  • Operate equipment such as electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and clamp trucks.
  • Manage roll stock projects and organize corrugation materials.
  • Utilize company software (PSI, Print Vis, Emerx, Microsoft Access) for inventory and processing.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and process related paperwork.
  • Process returns, report discrepancies, and update inventory systems.
  • Keep the warehouse and receiving areas clean and organized.
  • Crosstrain and assist in other areas as needed.
  • Order department supplies and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Work Experience:
    • Warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
    • Must have electric pallet jack, forklift, and clamp truck experience.
    • Must have basic computer experience.
    • Software: PSI, Print Vis, Emerx & Microsoft Access - experience preferred or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge &

    Skills:

    • Basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and effective communication.
    • Machine operation knowledge, quality control procedures, and OSHA regulations knowledge are highly preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. Prior warehouse experience is a plus. Must be of legal working age and eligible to work in the U.S.
Work Environment /

Physical Requirements
  • Indoors in a temperature‑controlled manufacturing facility; exposure to loud sounds, hazardous chemicals, and production floor equipment.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.; stand/walk on hard surfaces for extended periods; complete repetitive tasks; operate computers and/or machines (dexterity, bend, stretch, reach, climb, crouch, etc.); and communicate effectively.
