Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Associate role based in Rochester, NY. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and staging orders for shipment, as well as receiving and organizing inbound products. Daily tasks include loading and unloading trucks, checking shipments against documentation, labeling products, and maintaining clean, safe, and organized warehouse areas. The role also involves operating material handling equipment, assisting with inventory counts, and following all safety procedures and company policies.
The Warehouse Associate works closely with team members and supervisors to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time for customers.
- Experience with Shipping & Receiving, including verifying documentation, checking quantities, and preparing orders for outbound delivery.
- Proficiency in Packing and Unloading, with the ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.
- Skill in operating warehouse equipment such as Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack, or willingness to be trained and certified.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math and reading skills, and reliable time management.
- Team-oriented attitude with clear communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
