As the First Shift Distribution Coordinator, you will help lead our distribution team perform various warehouse duties. In this role, you will report to the Distribution Center Supervisor.
You Will Make an Impact By- Performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods, and rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
- Lifting heavy items and may operate a forklift.
- Preparing and maintaining records of merchandise shipped, posting weights and shipping charges and preparing goods for final shipment.
- Examining, stocking and distributing materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
- Experience in shipping, receiving and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
- Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
- 4-6 years of related experience.
- Completes tasks in creative and effective ways.
- Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
- Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
- Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
- May provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Oracle/ERP experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 20-40 lbs.
Hourly Pay Range: $22 - 24 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
