Load Builder

Position Overview

Salary: $18.00 hourly. This role is responsible for building loads for deliveries and maintaining a safe, clean, and well‑organized lumber yard. Duties include loading and unloading lumber and building supplies, operating a forklift, and other assigned responsibilities.

• Build loads for delivery
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies
• Operate forklift
• Notify management of any delays or discrepancies
• Keep the lumber yard clean, well‑organized, and safe

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one‑on‑one.
• Ability to apply common sense and carry out simple one or two‑step instructions; handle standardized situations with occasional or no variables.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED equivalent
