Reporting to Sherelle Brooks
Job SummaryMaterial Handlers work closely with Distribution, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to maintain organized, compliant, and audit‑ready material management system.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, move, and stage materials in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
- Verify materials against documentation (labels, packing slips, work orders).
- Store materials in designated locations following FIFO/FEFO and material status controls.
- Issue materials to production using approved transactions and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in assigned areas.
- Operate manual material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks); forklift operation as trained.
- Comply with cGMP, safety, security, and site policies.
Required (All Levels):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.
- Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMP requirements.
Preferred (All Levels):
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
- Forklift or powered industrial truck certification.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements.
- Experience handling temperature‑sensitive or hazardous materials.
- Works under direct supervision.
- Performs routine, repetitive tasks using established procedures.
- Developing knowledge of GMP material handling requirements.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Safety and compliance focus.
- Accountability and reliability.
- Teamwork and communication.
- Problem‑solving and initiative.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Work is performed in warehouse and manufacturing environments with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and industrial conditions.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Operation of material handling equipment is required.
- Use of PPE and compliance with cGMP gowning requirements required.
- Flexible schedule and overtime may be required based on operational needs.
USD 19.00 – 25.00
* The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
