We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler II to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Penfield warehouse in Rochester, NY. This role is integral to our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely handling of materials throughout the facility.
Job DescriptionReceive, store, and issue materials and supplies within the warehouse
Accurately document movement of goods using appropriate inventory systems
Assist in inventory counts and perform cycle counts as required
Operate material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jacks, forklifts) in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures
QualificationsPrevious warehouse or material handling experience preferred
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
1 year experience in stand up fork lift
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to stand, lift, and move products up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
High school diploma or equivalent required
