Forklift Driver / Shipper

The Forklift Driver / Shipper is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and ship products. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper inventory handling, and timely shipment of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders or invoices
- Move materials to and from storage areas, staging areas, and loading docks
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues
- Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damage
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs or more)
- Basic math and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Skills:
- Forklift operation (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack, etc.)
- Time management and organization
- Teamwork and communication
- Problem-solving and reliability
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
- Standing, walking, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods
- May require overtime, weekends, or shift work

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $18.50–$20.50.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
