The Warehouse Worker plays a key role in accurately preparing customer orders, handling inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This position involves packing and labeling products, operating material handling equipment, and using warehouse systems to ensure efficient order processing and inventory control.
Responsibilities- Pack, label, stack, and place selected products on pallets in an organized and secure manner.
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand pallet jacks.
- Read and follow detailed pick sheets to prepare correct part quantities and fill customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to support order picking, order processing, and inventory tracking.
- Load and unload products from trucks or storage areas while maintaining product integrity and safety.
- Maintain neat, accurate, and organized documentation of products and inventory.
- Perform regular cleaning and basic maintenance tasks to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Experience with packing, order picking, and order processing in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of RF scanners and warehouse management systems for inventory and order processing.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed pick sheets and follow instructions precisely.
- Prior warehouse experience handling loading, unloading, and general material handling tasks.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of computer-based inventory systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in order processing is beneficial.
- Familiarity with using RF scanners for inventory and order tracking.
- Comfort working with warehouse management systems and digital documentation.
- Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic in a warehouse or similar environment.

Work EnvironmentThis is a first-shift warehouse position with hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The work takes place in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse environment designed for comfort and safety. You will regularly use equipment such as electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand pallet jacks, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems while working in an organized, team-oriented setting.
JobType & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
