We are looking for a part-time Cashier who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. Our Cashier’s focus is to achieve a best in class customer experience that exceeds our customer’s expectations time and time again. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, displays a positive attitude and has great attention to detail.

• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting customers and conducting transactions
• Operates registers, scanners, credit card/debit card terminals and fuel consoles safely and efficiently
• Performs basic math functions to collect payments and make change
• Promotes a positive team environment
• Performs light paperwork duties as assigned
• Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook
• Maintains a well‑organized, stocked, safe and clean work environment
• Promotes the rewards program as well as approved merchandise or marketing programs
• Follows company policies as well as industry, sanitation and safe food handling procedures
• Completes all other store tasks and activities assigned by Management

• Education:
  
  Some high school or equivalent
• Experience &
  
  Skills:
  
  Prior cash handling experience preferred but not required
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction
• Physical:
  Must be able to work any area of the store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
• Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally

The Deli Clerk/Cashier greets customers, prepares product, maintains food safety and sanitation standards. Our Deli Clerk’s focus is to achieve a best in class customer experience that exceeds our customer’s expectations time and time again.

• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting customers and preparing orders
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to customers accurately
• Prepares food neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Replenishes items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift
• Cleans and maintains all areas of the deli to promote a clean image
• Understands and adheres to proper food handling, quality, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up
• Operates Point of Sale system/cash register, scanner and credit card/debit card terminal accurately and efficiently
