About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our onsite team in Rock Hill, SC. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of AR experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely collection, accurate financial records, and excellent internal and external customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Process and post customer payments (checks, ACH, credit card, wire transfers) accurately and promptly
- Prepare and send customer invoices, statements, and past-due notices
- Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding accounts
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short-pays, and chargebacks
- Maintain accurate customer account records and update credit limits or terms as directed
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including AR reconciliations and reporting
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external customers regarding billing issues
- Support audits by providing documentation when needed
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- 3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience required
- High school diploma required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field preferred - Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and general accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups a plus)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Rock Hill, SC
