Role Description The Chiropractic Assistant is a part-time, on-site role based in Rock Hill, SC. This role supports daily clinic operations by greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area. Responsibilities include answering phones, handling patient inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, and verifying basic patient information. The Chiropractic Assistant also assists with organizing patient flow, and coordinating with the chiropractor and team to ensure efficient and timely care.
Additional duties may include light administrative tasks such as updating records, managing paperwork, and supporting patient education efforts as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, including patience, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Professional phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems or similar communication tools.
- Competence in appointment scheduling and related receptionist duties, including managing calendars and organizing patient flow.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office software; experience with medical or chiropractic office systems is a plus.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a healthcare or chiropractic office environment is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow office policies and procedures.
