Hospitalist Medical Director Opening in Rock Hill, SCCharlotte, NC 25mFull-time

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our hospitalist team in Rock Hill South Carolina near Charlotte, NC. The Medical Director is responsible in oversight and support of all clinical and non-clinical activities provided by the program. Other responsibilities include creating a team culture that values high performance and excellent patient care. Also ensuring that the hospitalists are engaged and their efforts are aligned with the quality, safety and efficiency goals of the hospital.

Monday - Friday schedule Primarily Admin shifts w/ clinical shifts, as needed (details to be discussed during interview) 288-bed facility State-of-the-art technology and equipment Competitive compensation + leadership stipend with sign-on and relocation bonus Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage Medical benefits and 401(k) eligibility We are looking for candidates with leadership experience who can work collaborativelyResponsibilities Managing the program to achieve clinical, operational and financial goals Strategic planning responsibilities such as physician communications Business development Manage care strategies Participates in clinical oversight of the practice Takes the lead in recruiting Orientation and on-boarding of new hire clinicians Monitors individual hospitalist performance Provides feedback and coordinates interventions, completes routine performance reviews as needed Works with regional medical director and vice president of operations to adhere to the facility contractual requirements and operating budget and ensure client satisfactionFacilityMedical Center features a Level III Trauma center, women's center, imaging and laboratory services, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, labor and delivery services, orthopedics, a heart center and more.
