• High school diploma required
• Must be able to work 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. and 1:45 – 4:45 p.m.
• Interest in and ability to work with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
• Physical ability to lift up to 130 lbs.
• Ability to maintain discipline with all age groups
• Effective communication skills with school staff and students
• Ability to clean bus/equipment as needed
• Ability to perform simple child hygiene as needed
• Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
• Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report

• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred
• High School/Trade School degree preferred
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

School Bus Aide Salary Schedule/180 days/6 hours per day

Applicants must submit official transcripts, three professional references with at least one Page 3 of 3 supervisory reference and a copy of the appropriate credentials as part of the application process.

As a condition of employment and prior to onboarding, the district will conduct a criminal history background check.
