Job Purpose
- To help/tutor theory students who need extra help

Duties and Responsibilities
- The music theory tutor will meet with students individually who are enrolled in Basic Musicianship and four levels of Music Theory sequence (Music Theory I ~ IV), and Basic Aural Skills and four levels of Aural Skills sequence (Aural Skills I ~ IV). There are roughly about 100 students enrolled in the Theory and Aural Skills courses. The tutor will help students who struggle in these courses by reviewing the theoretical concepts, giving guidance to completing assignments, and assisting with sight singing and dictation practices.

The tutor will work 6 (six) hours a week.

Qualifications
- Music major

Preferred Skills - competency in music theory and oral skills
