Responsibilities- Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and collaborate cross‑functionally to continuously drive improvements and disposition deviant hardware quickly while maintaining optimal quality for our customers.
- Support hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment.
- Apply knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to implement new ideas that enhance overall function of parts, reduce cost, and add value.
- Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens & Lean Action Workouts.
- Support design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering.
- Engage proactively in quality to reduce defects and pursue process improvements.
- Support qualification guidelines, specifications, and top manufacturing issues.
- Develop and qualify special processes—castings, coatings, hole drilling, etc.
- Cultivate teamwork, maintain a positive working environment, and drive urgency and quality with speed.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of turbine engineering experience.
- 1+ year of shop/manufacturing experience.
- Well versed in lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control.
- Deep technical background on HGP components, including NX and GD&T.
- Ability to build trust with team members and interfacing organizations.
- Experience and familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes.
- Customer satisfaction mindset with strong quality orientation.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and deliver the best GE products.
