Position Title: Mechanical Engineer

This entry‑level Mechanical Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager of Balance of Plant Mechanical Engineering and Procurement Engineering. The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week on‑site at the Westinghouse facility in Rock Hill, SC. No relocation assistance will be provided.

• Support teams for the design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of non‑nuclear and large‑scale nuclear projects.
• Develop mechanical fluid system piping layouts and resolve routing interferences, reducing potential physical layout conflicts between commodities.
• Coordinate technically between functional areas for plant design and parameters.
• Interface with engineers in different departments and global work locations to support design, fabrication, and construction organizations, responding to RFIs, identifying design changes, and addressing deviations.
• Conduct physical arrangement assessments of nuclear island structures, equipment, piping, commodities, and supports using multi‑dimensional E3D design software.
• Author, review, and verify engineering designs and conduct in‑depth reviews of 3D models and plant designs with WNEXUS.
• Prepare technical reports to satisfy regulatory, code, and contract requirements.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (Other disciplines will not be considered).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• 0–3 years of experience; 2025‑2026 Mechanical Engineering graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, including experience with E3D; familiarity with REVIT is a plus.
• Strong visual and spatial design skills.
• Leadership and program management skills.

Annual salary range: $58,400 to $73,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
