About the role:
As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will support thermal-hydraulic, fluid systems, process engineering, and plant systems analysis activities associated with nuclear power generation. You will report to the department manager and be located at our Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May
- August 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help with thermal and fluid systems analysis
- Support process design and engineering calculations
- Prepare engineering reports and technical documentation
- Participate in engineering reviews and evaluations
- Support operating plant and new plant projects
- Help with process improvement projects
- Collaborate with system engineers and project teams
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Interest in energy systems and process engineering
- Familiarity with engineering fundamentals and calculations
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
