Qualifications- Some college or vocational training required
- Must meet South Carolina Surgical Technology certification requirements:
- NBSTSA-certified CST, OR
- New graduate of an accredited program (90-day grace period for certification), OR
- Completion of U.S. Military Surgical Technology training, OR
- Worked as a Surgical Tech in SC prior to Jan 1, 2008
- CST certification required within days for new graduates
