Overview
Chamberlain Group is a global leader in intelligent access solutions. This role is part of the IT Enterprise Applications function and focuses on PTC Wind Chill, Creo and related PLM applications.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes, gather, define, and analyze requirements.
- Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support applications that enable PLM business processes.
- Work with stakeholders to identify gaps, pain points, and objectives.
- Define and design proposed solutions that meet requirements and adhere to platform and application design guidelines, strategies, and industry best practices.
- Create functional specifications for custom development in line with design guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with Super Users to create test cases for end‑to‑end business processes and system functions, ensure traceability and coverage of requirements, execute tests, facilitate Super User test execution, and analyze and resolve defects.
- Develop documentation and training materials; support training delivery and organizational change management.
- Support production systems; proactively analyze and resolve production problems, resolve end‑user service requests, and execute production support processes including issue severity assessment, root‑cause analysis, and resolution path.
- Identify opportunities to leverage applications to improve business processes and support business re‑engineering efforts.
- Research and represent industry best practices.
- Plan and manage small projects using appropriate project management methodology.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and protect the company's reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, personal networks, and professional societies.
- Contribute to team efforts and participate on projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably in applications development or configuration.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with PTC Wind Chill, including configuration.
- At least one full‑lifecycle implementation of PTC Wind Chill, including Blueprint phase.
- Minimum 5 years working with business processes related to PLM such as New Product Development, Product Lifecycle Management, Documentation Change Control, Issue Tracking, and CAD Modeling Tools.
- Strong skills in systems analysis, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.
- Strong working knowledge of software development life cycles, release and change management.
- Strong business requirements analysis skills and ability to develop alternatives and recommend solutions.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate reporting needs into technical requirements and report designs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to explain technical solutions to business stakeholders.
- Ability to create a work breakdown structure, project plans, and manage execution for small projects.
- Willingness to travel occasionally domestically.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science.
- Experience with CAD tools such as Creo.
- Experience with PTC MPMLink and Project Link.
- Experience with Atlassian software.
- Experience in a consumer durable goods manufacturing company or equivalent.
Base pay range: $85,500.00 – $. Compensation may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, 401k contribution, short‑term incentive plan, and relocation assistance where applicable.
