The Director of Business Systems and Strategy sits at the intersection of technology and operations, supporting the systems that enable our franchise network to serve customers safely, efficiently, and consistently. From labeling systems that allow products to reach shelves to digital food safety platforms that protect our standards, this role helps sustain the operational foundation of our business while identifying opportunities to improve how we work.
Success in this position requires more than technical expertise. We are looking for someone with an insatiable curiosity to understand how our business truly operates, a bias toward action, and a desire to continuously learn and evolve alongside our technology landscape. There is no complete playbook for this role. The right person will seek context, ask thoughtful questions, connect the dots across functions, and take ownership of building what comes next.

Requirements:
- College degree or 4 year technical degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT applications support or a related role.
- General understanding of labeling systems (e.g., BoHA).
- General understanding of nutritional systems (e.g., Genesis).
- Familiarity with retail food sales POS systems (e.g., Stripe, Revel, Toast).
- General understanding of loyalty platforms, or willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of IT security concepts and frameworks (e.g., NIST).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to follow structured processes and workflows.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience in the retail food sales, franchise, or general retail industry.
- Experience with application integrations (POS - ERP - loyalty).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems.
- Experience supporting multi-location environments.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP.
- Experience working with vendors and third-party application providers.
