ERP Functional Configuration Manager

• Own and maintain the global ERP functional template and configuration standard across Gas Power manufacturing and supply chain sites
• Develop and enforce review and change-management processes for ERP configuration changes
• Exercise formal approval and rejection authority over changes affecting the global template
• Translate Global Process Digital Authority process standards into ERP functional configuration requirements
• Maintain a configuration change log and impact assessment register
• Translate business and process requirements into functional specifications for ERP technical teams
• Own and prioritize the DPE ERP development backlog
• Validate proposed technical solutions against functional expectations
• Partner with Master Data Governance on master data fields, planning parameters, and integration mappings
• Coordinate configuration and regression testing with Digital Technology and site ERP teams
• Coordinate deployment sequencing and site readiness for configuration changes
• Monitor configuration consistency across sites and drive corrective action for deviations
• Govern site-level configuration exceptions and approve justified deviations
• Ensure training materials and user training reflect the current template configuration
• Assess ERP platform releases for functional impact and surface required business decisions

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Significant experience in ERP functional configuration, business systems, or supply chain operations in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Understanding of ERP configuration across materials management, production planning, and related supply chain modules in a multi-site manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to translate operational and process requirements into functional ERP specifications and hold technical teams accountable to functional outcomes
• Strong influencing and facilitation skills across process owners, technical teams, and site leaders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Around 15% international travel
• Demonstrated experience owning or governing an ERP functional template or global configuration standard, including change control processes
• Familiarity with SAP and Oracle ERP in a manufacturing context
• Experience with SAP migration or template harmonization programs across multiple sites or ERPs
• Background in lean manufacturing or standard work
• Experience managing an ERP development backlog or functional prioritization process in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
• Ability to operate as a decision authority when stakeholders disagree with configuration rulings
• Strong written communication and ability to formalize content clearly
