Position Overview Powerus is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technology support at its Rock Hill manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for end-user computing, network and infrastructure maintenance, physical security systems, audio-visual equipment, and coordination with corporate IT and operational technology staff. The IT Support Specialist will be the primary on-site IT presence and the first responder for all facility technology issues.

The person in this role will support every system that keeps the facility running, from workstations and wireless to badge readers and production-floor displays.

This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment, not a help desk queue. The problems are physical, varied, and visible in the building around you.

• Deploy, configure, image, and maintain Windows workstations, laptops, and mobile devices across office and production-floor environments
• Administer user accounts, group policies, and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
• Maintain and troubleshoot local network infrastructure, including managed switches, wireless access points, VPN concentrators, and structured cabling
• Support physical security systems, including IP camera networks, badge and access control systems, and door controllers
• Set up and maintain audio-visual and conferencing equipment in conference rooms and production areas
• Assist with operational technology network segments supporting PLCs, SCADA interfaces, HMIs, and other industrial control equipment
• Manage hardware and software inventory, warranty tracking, and vendor coordination for IT equipment and services
• Perform scheduled maintenance, patching, firmware updates, and backup verification
• Document network topology, equipment locations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Escalate infrastructure and security issues to corporate IT and coordinate resolution

• Must be located in the United States, within commuting distance of Rock Hill, South Carolina
• Two or more years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or systems administration
• Working knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networking
• Experience with hardware deployment, imaging, and endpoint management
• Ability to lift and install rack-mounted equipment, run cable, and work in server closets and production areas
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)); this role involves access to ITAR- and EAR-controlled technical data

• Working knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networking
• Experience with hardware deployment, imaging, and endpoint management
• Ability to lift and install rack-mounted equipment, run cable, and work in server closets and production areas

• Experience supporting IT in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial facility
• Familiarity with IP-based physical security systems, including video surveillance and electronic access control
• Exposure to operational technology networks, industrial control systems, or SCADA environments
• Experience with network monitoring tools and basic firewall administration
• Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks or CMMC requirements
• Active or prior U.S. security clearance
