Workers Compensation Paralegal

A well-established plaintiff-side Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation law firm in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Plaintiff Paralegal to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff workers’ compensation files from intake to resolution
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and hearing schedules
• Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters
• Request and review medical records and billing documentation
• Prepare case summaries, demand packages, and settlement materials
• Assist attorneys with mediation, depositions, and hearings
• Ensure files are organized and compliant with court and commission requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a paralegal handling plaintiff workers’ compensation matters (South Carolina experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation procedures, forms, and deadlines
• Experience ordering and summarizing medical records and bills
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
