Floor Technician

Job Summary

Floor Technician responsibilities include floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintains knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surfaces.
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Piedmont Medical Center, 222 South Herlong Avenue, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29732.

Schedule:

Full time; days and hours may vary, rotating weekends.
Pay Range: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.
