Core Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Training team
- Drive all aspects of personal training sales, revenue, and member conversion
- Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and sales presentations
- Hire, onboard, and develop high‑performing trainers
- Manage schedules, session bookings, and department operations
- Track team performance metrics—sales, session volume, retention, and engagement
- Foster an elite culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous education
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute major club events and initiatives
- Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and visibility
- Build, coach, and develop teams that perform
- Lead by example—both on the floor and in business meetings
- Are confident, professional, and sales‑driven
- Thrive in target‑driven environments
- Communicate clearly and follow up consistently
- Continue their own professional and fitness education relentlessly
- Care deeply about member results, team culture, and business growth
- You avoid accountability and feedback

- You avoid being on the gym floor
- You're seeking a “desk job” rather than a leadership position
- Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, NPTI, etc.) preferred
- CPR/AED Certification (current)
- Minimum 2 years of personal training experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong understanding of fitness programming, member engagement, and business operations
- Professional appearance, leadership presence, and effective communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate exercises and be physically active on the gym floor
