Project Manager; Commercial Signage

Our client is a full-service commercial sign company specializing in the design, manufacturing, permitting, and installation of exterior and interior signage. They deliver monument signs, channel letters, illuminated signage, interior branding, and way finding systems for retail, healthcare, corporate, and industrial clients.

They are seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of sign projects from kickoff through final installation. This role requires someone who can drive timelines, protect margins, and keep multiple stakeholders aligned across design, production, field installation, and municipal channels.

This opportunity can scale based on experience. Strong project managers will own complex projects. Senior-level professionals may oversee larger, multi-site accounts, mentor junior team members, and help refine internal processes.

• Lead multiple signage projects simultaneously from pre-production through installation
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for clients, internal teams, vendors, and municipalities
• Manage budgets, schedules, change orders, and overall job performance
• Oversee permitting, zoning compliance, and documentation to avoid costly delays
• Coordinate across estimating, design, fabrication, and installation teams
• Proactively identify risks and solve problems before they impact timelines or profitability
• Provide clear, consistent communication and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Support long-term client retention through strong execution and relationship management

• Multiple years of project management experience in signage, construction, or a related industry
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, site plans, and specifications
• Working knowledge of permitting and municipal approval processes
• Strong financial awareness and comfort managing job costs
• Organized, decisive, and capable of managing competing priorities
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit job sites as needed
• This role is based in Rock Hill, SC and is primarily on-site, as close coordination with production and installation teams is essential.
• A structured hybrid schedule may be considered for experienced candidates who demonstrate strong ownership and independent execution.
• Fully remote is not preferred. However, for a senior-level professional with a proven track record of successfully managing signage or construction projects remotely, it may be considered.
