Pay Information$50,400 - $75,500
Job PurposeThe Training Team Leader will be responsible for leading and managing a team of (22) Skilled Process Trainers (specialists) and ensuring that process training is conducted effectively within a timely manner, which ensures the readiness and development of associates' technical process skills & technical knowledge to meet organizational needs regarding achieving departmental and company level key performance indicators.
Key Accountabilities- Creates, develops, and writes visual content
- Creates motion graphics, and interactive virtual training processes for optimal usability
- Utilizing software and programs such as Launchpad, DPM (development in manufacturing systems) & CATIA software. Perform the import process from CAD (computer aided design) drawings.
- Responds to quality & downtime issues by investigating root cause
- Creates an action plan to mitigate problems, and execute a plan for process‑related safety, quality, and delivery issues
- Creates a set plan for training activities for NM (New Model) builds, QC (Quality Control) events, and process rebalance events.
- Performs an overall judgment of evenf mass production readiness. If a gap exists, decide a plan to mitigate negative quality or delivery impacts.
- Mentors/ Coach production associates, trainers, and trainees .
- Leads and manages a team of (22) Skilled Process Trainers (specialists)
- Plans and decides the department's new hire placements .
- Ensures static, virtual, and dynamic training for new hires with weekly follow‑ups .
- Performs periodic audits
- Reviews accuracy training documents and decide action for all non‑conformances .
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 Years of Related Experience (manufacturing) or qualifying degree
- 3 to 4 years of manufacturing experience
- 1 year of training and/or leadership experience
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience in creating/designing and writing virtual training processes is a strong asset
- Proficiency and understanding of virtual design, Launchpad, DPM (development in manufacturing systems), CATIA software, or similar software experience is a strong asset
- Perform import process from CAD (computer aided design) drawings experience
- Mentoring experience
- Automotive/recreational manufacturing experience
- Must have the ability and willingness to work additional overtime hours with short notice.
- Potential traveling
- Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends when needed to maintain schedule.
- Spending time in training area & assembly line
