The Marketing Strategy & Digital Communications Manager leads the strategic planning, development, and execution of digital marketing initiatives for two distinct brands. This role owns the cross-channel marketing roadmap, drives digital communication strategies, and ensures cohesive brand storytelling across social media, emails and supporting digital touchpoints.

Partnering closely with Creative, Sales, Products and Cross-functional teams, this role ensures that digital efforts strengthen brand visibility, deepen audience engagement, and support business growth across multiple customer segments including retail, online, designers, and trade

The ideal candidate blends strategic marketing insight with hands‑on execution, balancing big-picture planning with the ability to deliver polished, high-performing digital content.

Minimum Qualifications Required
  • 4–6 years in digital marketing, communications, or integrated marketing roles.
  • Experience owning multi-channel strategies and marketing calendars.
  • Strong copywriting, brand storytelling, and editorial judgement.
  • Proficiency with email platforms, social schedulers, UTMs, and analytics tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a hybrid setting.
Preferred
  • Experience in home, interiors, textiles, or design industries.
  • Familiarity with trade/designer workflows and sample/spec cycles.
  • Shopify experience and basic understanding of Shopify > < partner platforms.
  • Basic design competency (Canva/Adobe) and light HTML for email polishing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain an integrated digital marketing strategy and annual roadmap aligned to brand priorities, launches, and segment needs.
  • Lead planning for campaigns, product stories, promotions, and content themes across email, social, and digital channels.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional inputs and ensure timely alignment, resourcing, and delivery of marketing initiatives.
2. Digital Communications Leadership
  • Oversee the brand voice and digital communication approach across email, social, and supporting channels.
  • Partner with Creative Director and department leads on briefing, messaging direction, and visual standards to maintain a cohesive brand experience.
  • Translate brand narratives, product benefits, and market insights into compelling consumer‑ and trade‑facing content.
  • Lead social media strategy across Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Facebook, and Linked In.
  • Manage content development, publishing, scheduling, community engagement, and channel growth.
  • Identify trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to inform content direction.
  • Monitor and optimize performance for reach, engagement, and conversions.
4. Email Marketing Strategy & Lifecycle Execution
  • Own the end‑to‑end email marketing program, including lifecycle journeys, campaign planning, segmentation, and deliverability.
  • Ensure mobile‑first, brand-forward, and accessible email designs.
  • Conduct A/B testing and optimize creative, messaging, CTAs, and cadence.
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration (Sales Segments & Product Teams)

Work with segment leaders to ensure marketing initiatives support business needs across:

  • Retail – campaign support, promotional messaging, social amplifications.
  • DTC & Online – landing pages, conversion content, site/email alignment.
  • Residential Designers – storytelling around projects, materials, and lookbooks.
  • Contract / Commercial / Hospitality Designers – compliance, durability, specs, and trade‑cycle aligned content.
  • Furniture Brands – co‑marketing, launch support, UTM tagging, and asset sharing.
  • Support digital and physical activation moments (trade events, markets, showrooms, product drops).
  • Leverage optimized content paths to drive awareness and conversion.
  • Partner with e‑commerce on product storytelling, messaging alignment, and digital merchandising needs.
7. Brand Integrity, Workflow & Approvals
  • Create clear briefs and route assets through creative approvals.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, licensing/credit accuracy, and visual standards.
  • Oversee content organization, version control, and digital asset management best practices.
