The Marketing Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Marketing department by assisting with content development, social media coordination, campaign support, event logistics, and general administrative and production tasks. This role helps ensure consistent brand communication and supports the credit union’s member engagement, community outreach, and marketing initiatives.

  • Assist with writing and proofreading content for newsletters, website, social media, member-facing communications and internal communications.
  • Prepare creative assets for branches, direct mail and other marketing channels for review and approval.
  • Ensure content follows brand guidelines by routing materials to the appropriate reviewers (marketing leadership, compliance).
  • Create and schedule posts, reels and other content across social media platforms and help monitor engagement.
  • Respond to comments on social and reviews using approved guidelines and escalated exceptions as needed.
  • Assist with pulling digital performance metrics and preparing reporting summaries.
  • Support the coordination of campaign tasks such as gathering content, preparing files, tracking deadlines, and routing approvals.
  • Assist with updating marketing materials and ensuring branches receive the correct collateral.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal and external events, including branch activities, community initiatives, Family Trust Foundation events, and financial education sessions.
  • Assist with event setup, promotional item preparation, and day‑of coordination needs.
  • Help with processing sponsorship requests and maintaining related documentation.
  • Submit design, printing, and promotional‑item requests to approved vendors and assist with tracking order status.
  • Help maintain marketing inventory (brochures, promotional items, displays) and coordinate restocking to branches and marketing.
  • Manage the promotional items inventory (marketing closet), including tracking stock levels, organizing materials, and maintaining the sign‑out and replenishment process to ensure accurate usage records.
  • Assist with processing invoices and maintaining project records including expense vouchers, receipts and other communication.
  • Support the department’s administrative needs, including file organization, tracking project details, and preparing routine reports.
  • Ensure all tasks follow established brand, compliance, and style guidelines by coordinating reviews with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assist with outreach and community engagement efforts that promote member growth and brand visibility.

Interpersonal Skills
:
Strong writing and proofreading skills. Team player and collaborator, comfortable working with cross functional teams, with high integrity and trustworthiness.

Other Skills
:

  • Proficient in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and online advertising
  • Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, CMS platforms, and basic video editing tools
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Salesforce, Hub Spot, Mailchimp) and project management tools (Asana, , Wrike)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Power Point
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Excellent communication, decision‑making, critical thinking, and project management skills
  • Understanding of regulated industries; financial services experience a plus
  • A valid driver’s license
Qualifications

1‑3 years of marketing experience; preferably in financial services or credit unions.
