Atrium Health Levine Cancer’s Radiation Oncology outpatient services provide advanced, patient-centered care using cutting-edge radiation therapy to treat cancer. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including linear accelerators and image-guided systems, to provide precise targeting of cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. The team of physicians, nurses, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists work collaboratively to deliver personalized treatment plans that minimize side effects and optimize outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Oncology experience preferred. Proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow, spinal, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and phlebotomy preferred. Oncology certification is preferred. BLS required per policy guidelines.

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN), a member of Advocate Health Nursing Professional Governance community, provides high- quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.
