Registered Nurse; RN; Surgical Intensive Care

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) in a healthcare facility.
Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and documenting individualized care plans within established time frames
• Performing patient interventions proficiently with age-specific competency
• Verifying orders, medication reconciliation, scheduling tests, and ensuring consent forms are complete
• Following medication and IV therapy policies, administering medications safely, and monitoring for adverse reactions
• Interpreting diagnostic data and escalating critical findings appropriately
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain quality patient care

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• Valid Multi-State RN License or equivalent state license
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification (within 7 days of hire)
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications required during orientation for ICU/CCU, SICU, and CVICU
• Preferred:
  One year of telemetry experience and CCRN certification
