Position Overview:
This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Supervisor responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Med Surg department, ensuring safe patient care, staff management, fiscal oversight, and achieving strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with leadership to maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff; supervise clinical activities; evaluate staff performance; promote service excellence; and ensure compliance with professional standards.
Qualifications & Skills- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- 2-3 years of acute care or similar experience with leadership skills preferred.
- Valid Multi-State RN License; if from a non-Compact state, must obtain within 30 days.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
- CPI certification and other unit-specific certifications required within orientation.
