We are partnering with a well-established and growing advanced manufacturing organization operating in a high-precision production environment. This company supplies critical components into regulated and performance-driven industries and is investing heavily in operational excellence, technology, and continuous improvement.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead shop-floor quality operations and support a culture of accountability, compliance, and process control.
Position SummaryThe Quality Supervisor will oversee day-to-day quality activities within the manufacturing environment, ensuring products meet internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
This role will lead a team of quality technicians and inspectors, drive root cause investigations, and partner cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Operations to strengthen quality systems and reduce defects.
This is a hands‑on leadership position within a fast‑paced, process‑driven manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and develop a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Monitor KPIs including scrap, rework, yield, and customer complaints
- Support internal and external audits (ISO or industry‑specific standards)
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and documentation control
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide training and guidance on quality procedures and best practices
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing quality environment
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 or similar standards preferred)
- Experience with root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with SPC, process control, and quality reporting tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast‑paced production setting
Preferred:
- Experience in advanced manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, industrial, or regulated environments)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- ASQ certification (CQE, CQM, etc.) is a plus
