The Quality Specialist provides daily quality support during manufacturing and packaging operations. This role reports to Quality Assurance Management and requires a consistent presence on the production floor to review documents, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with cGMP and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support production by performing in-process inspections, room clearances, and equipment/area releases.
- Review documentation for accuracy during manufacturing and packaging.
- Assist with deviation investigations and identify errors in batch records.
- Issue labels and printed materials per production schedule.
- Monitor environmental systems and pest control records.
- Submit end-of-day reports summarizing activities and issues.
- Communicate effectively with production, QA, QC, safety, and supply chain teams.
- Stay current on SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMP training.
- 2+ years of experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, or dietary supplements preferred).
- Auditing and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
