Riverside Technical Sales is a Manufacturer’s Rep seeking 2 motivated and technically capable sales professional to represent world-class manufacturers of automation, safety, motion control, electrical, and power products. This role combines consultative technical selling with relationship-driven account management. You will work directly with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end users to develop solutions that improve productivity, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage a sales territory, driving growth through new business development and existing account expansion
- Identify and pursue new applications in automation, motion control, electrical, safety, and power products from multiple manufacturers
- Serve as a technical resource for customers, assisting with product selection, application support, and system concepts
- Call on OEMs, system integrators, machine builders, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Conduct on-site customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
- Work closely with inside sales, manufacturers, and engineering support teams to develop solutions and quotations
- Identify and pursue new applications and market opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports
- Attend trade shows, training sessions, and manufacturer meetings as required
Candidates must possess a Team Oriented attitude with the ability to work within a group or independently as required. Candidates must also be able and willing to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred but not required) or equivalent industrial experience
- 3+ years of experience in industrial technical sales, application engineering, or automation-related roles
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and electrical systems
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
