Inside Sales Representative

Our client is a mid-sized supplier of fasteners, structural steel, wire, fabrications, pipe, and steel products servicing the global nuclear power generation business in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We are searching for an Inside Sales Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts, quoting material, and entering sales orders and purchase orders.

• Accept inbound calls representing relationships with customers, vendors, third-party contractors and co-workers.
• Make outbound calls and develop customer and supplier relationships while achieving sales goals and objectives.
• Negotiate terms with internal and external teams and organizations, working closely with the Sales Manager.
• Communicate and provide solutions to customers, vendors and third-party contractors for an assigned territory.
• Provide development, evaluation and recommendations on contracted services and materials.
• Cover the on-call responsibilities for sales on a rotating basis (after 5:00 PM and weekends).
• Up to 10% travel.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate's Degree and experience also strongly considered
• 2-5 years inside sales, sales or customer service experience
• Industrial, energy, power or nuclear industry background preferred
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Knowledge or experience in logistics, distribution or steel industries a plus
• Proficient in MS Word and Outlook
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
